Title: Nothing Like the Holodeck
Sequel to: Curly Fries and Other Little Obscenities, Beneath an Unfamiliar Sky, and This Is Not a War Story
Author: [personal profile] taliahale
Fandoms: Teen Wolf (TV), Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate: SG-1
Word Count: 9553
Ratings/Warnings: Teen, End Notes for Warnings
Characters: John Sheppard, Rodney McKay, Madison Miller, Meredith Miller-Emmagen (OFC), Torren Emmagan, Stiles Stilinski, Calliope Taylor (OFC), Carolyn Lam, Kavya Patankar (OFC)
Pairings: Rodney McKay/John Sheppard, Ronon Dex/Amelia Banks/Radek Zelenka, Laura Cadman/Aiden Ford, Madison Miller/Torren Emmagen, Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski, Caroly Lam/Kavya Patankar (OFC)
Summary: “Don’t be ridiculous,” Stiles laughs, adjusting the bill of his faded Mets cap to better block the sun streaming through the gaps in the cloud cover. He turns his camera lens on Derek, who looks away from the treeline to scowl, “They’ve been sending teams here for ages and nobody’s ever found something more exciting than a new variant of, I dunno, space ivy or something, so would you just--”

That’s when the arrows start flying.

Author’s Note: Written for WIP Big Bang, with art by the lovely and talented [personal profile] musicalluna, who was encouraging and patient with my rewrites. Thanks, as ever, to S for the beta duty (and making me write the ending three times, you are a tyrant and you were right: I’m the worst, I’m sorry). Original inspiration from the SG-1 Episode ‘Window of Opportunity,’ though if you’re familiar with the episode this went a different direction. The line about the universe and pie was lovingly stolen from the SG-1 Episode ‘Urgo.’ If you’re unfamiliar with SG-1, I highly recommend either episode as an introduction to the series. I chose not to use archive warnings, but mind the tags and check out the end notes for full warnings. It's not tagged or in the warnings, but this entire series is domestic as fuck. Just so you know.

Title: Your Robot Heart Is Bleeding
Fandom: Hockey RPF
Characters: Alexa Recchi, Evgeni Malkin, Frank Buonomo, Jack Johnson, Marc-Andre Fleury, Mario Lemieux, Mark Recchi, Nathalie Lemieux, Pittsburgh Penguins Ensemble, Sergei Gonchar, Sidney Crosby, Taylor Crosby, Trina Crosby, Troy Crosby
Relationships: Sidney Crosby & Jack Johnson, Sidney Crosby/Evgeni Malkin
Rating: Teen
Word Count: 6803
Summary: The procedure was an unmitigated success. A healthy baby boy, perfectly average in height and weight with a heart that beat steady as a metronome.

Author's Notes: Written for the Hockey Reverse Big Bang, inspired by azurejay's amazing mix, Sensible Person (Hot to the Touch, Cold on the Inside). Title taken from and story idea heavily drawn from Dan Mangan’s ‘Robot’ and FOB’s ‘Hot to the Touch, Cold on the Inside.’

Warning Up Front: There is immediate mention of a stillbirth. It's brief, nongraphic, and children are brought back to life with mechanical or magical means, but obviously a potential trigger. As per usual, I chose not to use archive warnings. Please check the end notes for more detailed warnings.

Available at AO3.

Pairings: Rodney McKay/John Sheppard Teyla Emmagan/Kanaan Ronon Dex/Amelia Banks/Radek Zelenka Laura Cadman/Aiden Ford Madison Miller/Torren Emmagen Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski
Summary: Today's the day.
Shameless Retirement Fic.
Author’s Note: This is for [personal profile] brumeier, who I repeatedly trick into reading Teen Wolf/SGA fics even though she doesn’t Teen Wolf. You’re the best mod a shoobie could ask for. Have some McShep.

Written for Romancing McShep, a John/Rodney Happy Endings fest. This fic could theoretically carry a very soft M rating. If old dudes kissing and frottage offends you...don’t read this. Beta by the always brilliant S. The Change of Command ceremony is loosely based on USAF traditions and Star Trek: TNG.

Warnings Non-graphic descriptions of injuries and a heart attack. Canonical character deaths are alluded to, but not specifically discussed. It’s not explicitly stated, but it’s made clear that John has PTSD (relates to AU take on scenes from ‘Phantoms’). Aforementioned horny old dudes. Meddling with both canon timelines for convenience. Tooth rotting fluff. Cadman. Cadman’s a warning all on her own.

If you do Teen Wolf and you’re reading this series solely for the Teen Wolf, you can probably skip this one.

Available at AO3 if you prefer.

Title: The Relative Merits of Citrus
Author: [personal profile] taliahale
Fandoms: Hockey RPF
Word Count: 16147
Ratings/Warnings: Teen
Pairings: Patrick Kane/Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith/Kelly-Rae Keith, Brent Seabrook/Dayna Seabrook, Abby Sharp/Patrick Sharp, Brandon Bollig/Andrew Shaw
Characters: Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Kelly-Rae Keith, Dayna Seabrook, Abby Sharp, Patrick Sharp, Brandon Bollig, Andrew Shaw, Corey Crawford, Andree Gilbert, Jessica Kane, Colton Keith, Carter Seabrook, Stan Mikita
Summary: When career-ending injuries keep Kane and Toews from making it to the NHL, they turn to their family businesses. Jonny's expanding into Patrick's market. (He only wishes that was a euphemism.) Everything sort of goes downhill from there. Featuring: rec league hockey, flirtatious emails, fabulous female roommates, gratuitous references to Twilight and the Mighty Ducks, not-so-secret identities, and an overabundance of junk food.

or

That ‘You’ve Got Mail’ AU nobody asked for.
Author’s Note: Written as a pinch-hit for svmadelyn's Hockey Holiday Exchange. Hazel, thank you for the stellar prompt.

Prompt: Blackhawks, Kane/Toews, "Nobody likes a liar, Kaner," Jonny says, but Patrick thinks it's bullshit by the way he's trying not to smirk.

For those uncomfortable with the emotional infidelity in the film, it's not at play here. However, the aftermath of the loss of a parental figure is a plot point, as is the subsequent loss of the inheritance and occupation left behind by said figure. The character's death takes place off screen and several years prior to the story. A character makes a joking reference to a male character kicking a female character's ass, though it's referring to business competition not a physical altercation. A character accidentally ingests too much cough medicine. He's intoxicated while alone with someone he doesn't particularly like or trust, but he isn't taken advantage of in any way.

Thanks, as always, to the inimitable S for the super-speedy, incredibly last-minute beta. You're a lady and a tramp. Thank you for talking me out of titling this 'Miracle on 53rd Street.' Any remaining errors, particularly in judgement, are entirely my own.

Formatting note: emails from Jonathan/stanley19 will be in italics, emails from Patrick/hockeybro88 will be bolded.

Available at AO3 if you prefer.

Summary: “This,” Kazul says, shifting into humanoid form with a smoky sigh, “is a tremendously bad idea.”

Title: Founder's Day
Author: [personal profile] taliahale
Fandoms: Eureka
Word Count: 6349
Ratings/Warnings: Teen, Mild Dub-Con of the Alternate Timeline Kissing Variety
Characters: Jack Carter, Nathan Stark, Jo Lupo, Douglas Fargo, Henry Deacon, David Blake (OMC), Vincent,Deputy Andy, S.A.R.A.H.
Pairings: Jack Carter/Nathan Stark, Allison Blake/David Blake, Henry Deacon/Grace Monroe, Jack Carter & Jo Lupo, Jack Carter & Henry Deacon
Summary: Jack isn’t afraid to open his front door.

Sometimes going back to the future isn’t quite how you imagined. First off, no DeLoreans, which is a major letdown. Oh, and there’s that whole rematerialized nemesis-turned-boyfriend to deal with. Founder’s Day is the worst.
Author’s Note: This story diverges from canon at the start of season four. For the sake of convenience, I ignored the fact that Kavan Smith was Andy 2.0. Some dialogue in the opening scene was taken from 4X2, ‘A New World.’ As per usual, I chose not to use archive warnings so check the end notes. Let me know if you'd like me to tag anything.

Written for smallfandomfest. Prompt: ‘coming back from the dead is tiring,’ Jack/Nathan. Thanks to my beta S, who rewatched season 4 with me and commented ‘needs more Stark.’ You are entirely to blame for this mess.

Warnings: If you’ve seen season 4 or 5 of Eureka, you’re familiar with the deception taking place among the characters who traveled back in time. If you're unfamiliar, this fic contains both Jack and Henry lying to their respective romantic partners, though physical involvement is limited to light kissing. Still dubcon-y, though.

Available at AO3 if you prefer.

Title: Beneath an Unfamiliar Sky, sequel to Curly Fries and Other Little Obscenities
Author: [personal profile] taliahale
Fandoms: Teen Wolf (TV), Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate: SG-1
Word Count: 1972
Ratings/Warnings: Gen, Archive Warnings Not Used
Characters: Stiles Stilinski, Aiden Ford, Captain Calliope Taylor (OFC), Madison Miller, Laura Cadman, Kavya Patankar (OFC), Sam Carter, Derek Hale, Jennifer Keller
Pairings: Various implied, Derek/Stiles (pre-slash)
Summary: Stiles spent the last eight days sharing a hut with his teammates and a handful of goat-like creatures on P7K-172. Dad’s going to be pissed he missed Thanksgiving.
Author’s Note: I don't know how this sequel happened. You don't need to read Curly Fries first, but feel free to. Things you need to know: Stiles works at Stargate Command and his team leader is Aiden Ford, Goa'uld are evil aliens who take over human hosts (they can be identified by medical scans for the symbiote and by their flashing eyes).

Available at AO3 if you prefer.

Fandom: Teen Wolf
Characters: Derek Hale, Stiles Stilinski, Scott McCall, Lydia Martin, Jackson Whittemore, Vernon Boyd, Erica Reyes, Allison Argent, Danny Mahealani
Relationships: Stiles/Derek
Rating: Gen
Word Count: 1064
Summary: In which three is a pattern and Derek knows the way to a man's heart.
Notes: This tooth-rotting bit of plotless fluff takes place in a nebulous, AU season 2 where the pack's a big, happy family and Jackson/Erica/Boyd are still around because I said so.

Title: Curly Fries and Other Little Obscenities
Author: [personal profile] taliahale
Prompt: Stiles Stilinski walked into a bar and meets…Aiden Ford.
Fandoms: Teen Wolf (TV), Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate: SG-1
Word Count: 2068
Ratings/Warnings: Gen, No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Stiles Stilinski, Aiden Ford, John Sheppard, Rodney McKay
Pairings: Aiden Ford/Laura Cadman, John Sheppard/Rodney McKay
Summary: Stiles is wandering the corridors of Stargate Command in search of caffeine and calories when he meets Major Ford.
Author’s Note: Thanks to my mifus for all the encouragement. Written for A Ficathon Walks Into a Bar. Unfortunately, there is no actual bar in this story.

Canon compliant with Teen Wolf through 3a, though the accelerated education is farfetched enough that you can disregard that if you prefer. Aiden’s storyline diverges from SG:A canon pre-series. His grandmother fell ill and he never joined the original expedition. He’s a team leader at the SGC and his life has been all puppies and rainbows and Cadman instead of Wraith enzyme-induced psychosis and life on the lam. McShep because I seriously can't help myself.

Title: whatever we lose (like a you or a me)
Fandom: Teen Wolf, Stargate: Atlantis
Characters: Alan Deaton, Carson Beckett, Claudia Stilinski, Erica Reyes, Isaac Lahey, Lydia Martin, Miko Kusanagi, Radek Zelenka, Sheriff Stilinski, Stiles Stilinski, Vernon Milton Boyd IV
Rating: Teen and Up
Word Count: 3830
Summary: The Wraith don't dig graves.  As far as Stiles has been able to ascertain, they do nothing to dispose of their dead.  There are no last rites, no memorials.  It's possible that the anthropologists have some theory involving warrior culture, space-faring peoples, and hibernation cycles.  He thinks it's just another indication that the Wraith aren't people at all.
Warnings: Complete warnings for series available on AO3.
Notes: This is the first in a WIP series.  Alternate Universe (Human, Teen Wolf characters in Stargate: Atlantis canon).  Title from 'maggie and milly and molly and may' by ee cummings.  Thanks go to my trusty betas, this time Indy and the incomparable Tess.  Any remaining mistakes are entirely my own.

Title: Idaho and Other Post-War Wastelands
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Characters: Stiles Stilinski, Derek Hale
Relationships: Stiles/Derek
Rating: Teen and Up
Word Count: 742
Summary: It doesn't take long for them to start avoiding the cities.  At the end of the world, all they have is each other.  It's less dire than Derek expected.
Notes:  For S, who asked for: get-together Sterek and an amusement park.  I'm fairly sure this isn't what you meant, but I stuck them in Canada and Idaho for you, so smile, darling.  Silverwood Theme Park and its Halloween-themed Scarywood Haunted Nights both exist in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.  To my knowledge, the monsters there are not real.  This could be considered an Apocalypse AU or simply an alternate season 3.  No S3 spoilers.
Warnings: Disturbing imagery, implied off-screen character death,

Fandom: Teen Wolf, The West Wing
Characters: Aiden, Cora Hale, Danny Mahealani, Derek Hale, Erica Reyes, Ethan, Isaac Lahey, Jackson Whittemore, Lydia Martin, Scott McCall, Stiles Stilinski
Relationships: (pre-slash) Stiles/Derek, (implied) Scott/Isaac, (implied) Lydia/Jackson
Rating: Teen and Up
Word Count: 1,948
Summary: Derek wants to ask out a report.  (Not really.)  Stiles doesn't get why Derek hates Danny.  (Everyone else does.)  Jackson's a douchebag.  Isaac fails at correctly typing statistics.  (And subtly sneaking into Scott's office.)  Erica and Cora are made of sass, fabulous suits, and hairspray.  Aiden and Ethan are super-assistants with hopeless bosses.  Scott is stuck in his office all day.  (He minds less when Isaac joins him.)  Oh, and Lydia's in charge.  Of the country.  She excels at it, obviously.
Notes: For J, who re-watched the entirety of The West Wing with me last summer and only complained twice.  That's love right there.

Title: Is This a Wire?
Fandom: Teen Wolf
Characters: Stiles Stilinski, Derek Hale
Relationships: Stiles/Derek
Rating: Teen and Up
Word Count: 1474
Summary: Stiles comes from a long line of cops.  He should've known better than to volunteer for undercover work.  Especially when that work involves getting up close and personal with Derek Hale in a fedora.
Warnings: This takes place in an historical alternate universe in which werewolves are known.  It contains societal, period-typical, as well as internalized homophobia.  As a gangster AU, there is reference to violence, and one character believes his undercover identity has been compromised and that he's in danger.  There is also a brief description of a character having a panic attack.

Also available at AO3.  Story inspired by this lovely fanart by misslucid.

Title: (500) Days of Allison
Fandom: Teen Wolf, (500) Days of Summer
Characters: Alan Deaton, Allison Argent, Bobby Finstock, Danny Mahealani, Derek Hale, Erica Reyes, Greenberg, Isaac Lahey, Jackson Whittemore, Matt Daehler, Scott McCall, Stiles Stilinski, Vernon Boyd
Relationships: Allison Argent/Scott McCall, Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski, Vernon Boyd/Erica Reyes, Isaac Lahey/Scott McCall
Rating: Teen and Up
Word Count: 11741
Summary: Boy meets girl.  Boy falls in love.  Girl doesn't.  Or, that (500) Days of Summer AU where Stiles and Scott create comics for Deaton at Wolfsbane Press, Derek's a pediatric surgery fellow, Allison's an archery champ forced into early retirement, Erica and Boyd have way too many engagement parties, and Danny is a mostly-reformed hacker working for the feds (and is also Scott's stepbrother with a surprisingly active intramural basketball team).
Notes: Fic contains blatant handwaving when it comes to how things happen in the real world: veterinary school (though it's true they're incredibly difficult to get into and Davis has an amazing program), how an indie comic company would be run, and how much coffee can feasibly be drunk in 500 day.  For someone who hates it, my characters down that shit like water.  All music mentioned (with the exception of nobody's favorite Beatle) has been featured on Teen Wolf.  Kudos on that, MTV.  Also, the name of Peter's diner is The Abandoned Subway Station, but nobody else thought that was funny.
